How to choose a sunscreen?

Most of us know how much sun can be harmful to our skin. The best protection is to protect are clothes, hat and sunglasses whenever it's possible but because it is not always practical, you always have to have a protective sunscreen with you. The whole trick is to find the best sunscreen, keep it on hand and remember to put it back on.

Know the difference between a protective cream blocker. Protective Cream (milk, oil, etc.) is any product that contains SPF factor of 15 or less, or 15 times the skin is burned more slowly if you have it on yourself than if you do not have. Sunblock is any product that has SPF 30 or more. Use cream with a filter of SPF 30 or higher if you have a fair complexion, if you are in a position near the equator, or if you are outdoors in hot, sunny day between 10.00 am and 16.00. Protect your children well cause most of damage caused by sun rise is before you reach the age of majority.

People with fair complexions need more protection. Make sure your sunscreen has a "wide range" of protection against both UVA rays (ultraviolet A) and UVB (ultraviolet B). Ultraviolet radiation at high dose increases the formation and consequently malignant melanoma skin cancer. You need to know what protection you get. The filter provides SPF 15 protection from 94% - 95% protection against UVB, SPF 28 has 96% protection. Get a waterproof sunscreen if you swim or sweat. Look for unscented and hypoallergenic cream with a filter, if you are allergic to certain products to the body. Make a small patch of cream on the skin to confirm whether the cream is truly hypoallergenic. According to your preference choose from among the lotions, gels, sticks, ointments and sprays. Stick is the best protection for your lips and spray is the quickest way to spray busy children. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes before exposing the skin to the sun. Most people need about 30 grams of cream with a filter, or some glass to cover their body. Repeat the imposition of the cream every two hours, or more often if you swim or if you sweat profusely.
